Course Description
Due to its widespread use in media and music, Egyptian Colloquial Arabic (ECA) or (Aameya) is the most commonly understood dialect of Arabic in the Middle East. It provides students with skills to interact with the spoken form of the Arabic language used in Egypt.

We use the acclaimed textbook series Kallimni Arabi (ECA) published by the American University in Cairo Press which is used at IH Cairo and is commercially available. We have also developed supplementary educational resources to enhance the learning experience and complement our textbook series.
